Managing premium and billing

Hit upgrade anywhere in the app, whether that is on running into the free-tier property limit, trying to set a per-property override, or simply from your profile, and you are handed to Stripe’s checkout page to pay: a one-off £34.99 for a full year. Come back afterwards and premium is already active, with nothing to wait on.

There is nothing to manage or cancel, because premium is a single payment rather than a recurring one. There is no card on file and no billing portal; premium simply runs for its 12 months. Your profile shows the date it ends, and nothing is taken when it does.

When premium ends (12 months after you bought it) you drop back to the free tier. Properties you have already added are not deleted, you simply cannot add more once you are back over the free tier’s limit, because it counts every property you (and a linked partner, if you have one) have ever added rather than how many you are holding at the time. Any per-property overrides you had set stay visible but stop being editable until you upgrade again.

Partner linking is unaffected. It is free and independent of premium, so if you were linked, you stay linked. What changes is entitlement: unlimited properties and overrides only carry over to a linked partner while at least one of you is premium.
