Showing routes on the map

Draw the actual drive or walk route from a property to a saved place, straight onto the map.

"32 minutes to work" stays an abstraction until you see the road it is actually measuring. Drawing the real route between a property and wherever you are heading, whether that is the office or your parents’ house or the school run, turns a commute estimate into something you can picture. That is all this small feature is for.

How it works

Select a property, and its quick-view panel shows a "Routes & commutes" card listing every important place you (and your linked partner, if you have one) have saved, grouped by type. Each place shows its drive and/or walk time, with a small "Route" button next to whichever modes apply.

Tap "Route" and a line is drawn on the map from the property to that place. Only one route shows at a time, so tap the same button again to clear it, or tap a different place’s "Route" button to swap across to that one.

Desktop only, for now

This only works from the compact quick-view panel, meaning the narrower drawer you get by default on a larger screen. Mobile always opens the full-screen property view instead, and that view does not have the route toggle yet, so drawing a route onto the map is a desktop-only thing for the time being.

Quick note

Every drive and walk time is still there on mobile in the property’s Commutes tab, you just cannot draw the line onto the map from there yet. Worth knowing, so you are not hunting around for a button that does not exist.
